another photo with a bit more yellow
It is called gold flame , but you are right not much yellow
Thank you, Cinda. I have been looking at Gold Flame of late, contemplating some for our cabin rural property. Honeysuckle is too aggressive for my small city plot.
We stayed at a B&B in Corbridge, England (were visting Hadrian's Wall, as my husband was a world history teacher) on our 1980 6-week driving tour of the UK. Mr. Matthews, the B&B proprietor was inordinately proud of the ginormous pink honeysuckle just outside the diningroom window when I complimented it. It was pure-D pink with no yellow at all that was discernable from our seated position. It covered the entire end of the rather large garden/yard.
