Collection plate

Petals of this Chinese tree peony, Snow Kissed Peach, act as natural collectors for the pollen that falls.

Excellent banner Elizabeth!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

You've captured the heart of this peony exquisitely.... and it's capturing our attention. Well done, as is your signature style.

I tried earlier this evening to add the full photo, and somehow it got lost. Here's another attempt.
Note, Snow Kissed Peach is not, as far as I can tell, a registered Chinese tree peony. That's just the name that appears on the plant's ID label at the Peony Garden, Nichols Arboretum (Ann Arbor)

That is SO pretty! Blinking
I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you.

I love that whole image....colors, details, composition, lighting.
The way the pollen collected in the petals. Wow.
It would look great enlarged & framed. Thumbs up
