Hello,
I find myself in a bit of a quandary with my fairy castle cactus (Acanthocereus Tetragonus).

It's a long story but I ended up repotting it to the only pot I could find at the local farmer's market. I purchased it about 8 months ago. It was in a teeny tiny plastic pot. I repotted it to a larger pot exactly 1 month and 4 days ago.

Another member in the forum advised me that the pot is too large (I posted photos). I worry that with a pot so large, there will be more water than the plant can actually absorb and it will rot/suffer inadequate drainage. It was originally in a pot that was 2 and 3/4". I found a pot online that is 3.75".

My question is this: A) Is it too soon to repot? And B) Does this size pot sound appropriate?

Ps. I don't know if this helps. But since repotting, it has grown. (Also, I watered it 2 tsp 4 days ago).

These questions have been answered but as SerenityDream is asking again, I assume she would like someone else to weigh in. Here is the background.

I remember you saying the cactus could be repotted if it's only been a few weeks, but it has been a month. That was what confused me. Also, I just want to make sure that the downsized pot is not too small (or large).
