Received in trade, no idea who it is but it's a keeper.

Photos don't actually do justice to the graduation of color in the center.

Ocean Fisher is gorgeous. Does it sometimes lean toward purple? Mine looks a lot less blue than that one does in photos I looked up. The color in my photos is pretty true to life.

It's dark blue here. Is yours 43"?

To me, it doesn't look the same as the pictures of Ocean Fisher. For one thing, this mystery plant looks more violet, and the second thing is that it has a reddish blush around the signals. I don't see the reddish blush at all in the pictures of Ocean Fisher.

Not Ocean Fisher. That is Queen Jeanne. QJ has really pronounced steeples (the yellow blazes on the falls).

Yes, that looks more like it, Leslie, and I can even see a bit of a reddish blush around the steeples.

Queen Jeanne is a closer match I agree. Is the color in the photos generally pretty true? Mine is darker, and there is a bit more green in the steeples (new iris vocab for me!).

I do think you've all pointed me in the right direction though. Do you think Swords Drawn could be it?

Taqiyyah, I think Swords Drawn looks even more like it!

Queen Jeanne and Swords Drawn are siblings with the same parents, both of them Hybridized by Heather Pryor. No wonder they look so similar! Kudos to you for Aaparently looking up Pryors other cultivars.

Hahaha, I wish I was that keen, Daisy!

Swords Drawn came up in Google image searches and it looked so right I took a closer look. It really looks like I'm looking at my own, so that's what I'll go with, with caveats of course!

Thanks, all.

@lovesblooms

So is yours purple? Queen Jeanne is more blue. I can see why Heather would introduce that pattern in purple. It makes the steeples pop even more than the blue.

Yes, it's a deep royal purple, and it does pop, especially with the green-centered steeples.

I found who it is by searching back through my trades: Swirling Waters. Thanks, all!
