This is Caramella, the 1986 hybrid tea.

And this is Caramella, the 2001 shrub. Both are Kordes roses.

Cardinal Richelieu has been attacked by weevils for the last four or five years. They die out by June, but this is a once-blooming rose, so it has been frustrating. This year I started spraying the rose with Raid flying insect spray as soon as I saw the first one. It's the only thing that will kill them. It worked. The rose has a zillion healthy buds.

This is Chantilly, the frilliest mauve rose I own.

Colette, a climber that naturally resists black spot. So far, I've only found a couple of leaves affected on two large Colette climbers.

This is Cotillion. J&P renamed it Perfume Perfection to fool people into buying it twice. I really hate deceptive marketing practices, especially when they work. Yes, I am one of those people who bought it twice.
