Leonie Lamesch is one of the ugliest rose bushes in my garden. It's not ugly in the pest-ridden and disease-ridden way that Baronne Prevost was (I finally got rid of that one this year). It's just droopy. The leaves droop and the canes droop. It always looks like it's dying of thirst, even after days and days of pouring rain. When it blooms, though, I forgive all of its flaws because the flowers are so beautiful.
