I purchased Coral Sunset a few days ago, the plant was beautiful … strong, upright, with perky leaves.

The next day, it had wilted considerably. That night I repotted and was so surprised as I was able to use 3 separate pots (soil was packed against roots and soaked). I also potted some blind roots from the bottom of the original pot.

I'm wondering, should I have watered after repotting? The 2 smaller roots are looking quite sad.

Going forward should I water like normal … when the top few inches are dry or give it a little more time in between watering?

Does anyone know how long will it take for the plant to perk up and which will increase the chance of survival … keeping them inside or putting them outside? My balcony is south facing so gets sun from morning to about 5 or 6 p.m.

Largest root with 2 stems. Leaves are still droopy after 3 days.

I would thoroughly soak them and put them outside in full shade. No sun at all until they perk up.
