I take a lot of photos. After taking a photo, I always add metadata, the most important being the description. When I post a photo in one of the forums, I usually manually copy the description metadata from the photo I am posting and paste it into my post.

Would it be possible to have the description metadata extracted from an uploaded photo and included with the photo?

Hi Frank,

That's an excellent idea. The problem, though, is for a variety of reasons (mostly related to privacy) I have programmed Garden.org to strip out all meta data from the photos that are uploaded. It would be highly complicated to do this feature the way you described it so I can't say it's feasible.
