Some prior intros we will sell. New ones come out through Winterberry Iris gardens. They also have a couple of John's intros which came out through our old suppliers. If you want to know any specific plants I can tell you where to find them. Dee Stewart lists 'Reddy Set' this year. Our local (in state) supplier has retired.

Brad....I saw this thread last night and looked forward to responding this morning. You have shared so many wonderful pictures of TB's with us! I love SDB's and grow quite a few and added about 25 last summer. I'm looking forward to seeing them bloom and adding pictures this spring. My favorite source of SDB's is Mid-America. Snowpeak and Salmon Creek have interesting lists also. SDB's are great and extend the iris season. Here are some of mine. Maybe more later...

Tom. I got most of those SDB's from Mid-America. They have a fine selection. I do have some SDB seedlings that will bloom for a second time this spring and I will decide if any are worthy to share.

Brad, SDBs tolerate frosts far better than TBs. I don't know you experienced the "Easter Freeze" in 2007 like we did, but that was the only time I've seen freezes affect SDBs. Even then, many of them at least produced some bloom.

Dee Thank You Beautiful pics Alamo Joe Thumbs up

Kent that is good to know we are really prone to late freezes here, I am kinda down in a valley in the country so I have always wondered how they would do and just how early they start to bloom in our zone. It would be great if they bloomed with my spring trees, I always have the TB's coming on at the same time but just green growth know Iris color. I am hoping they will add some more early color to the yard. You have a awesome collection there I will have to go through some of my older Mid America catalogs and study some of these Wish Upon A Star and Lab are Outstanding !

Brad, I haven't had trouble with early frosts very much. Last year when we had that really early heat in March, and then that cold spell in April, I had one that had the blooms ruined, but that's the only time it happened. I have many more that I can't find pictures of. Some are dwarfs that are really tiny and earlier then the SDB's Cat's Eyes is one of my favorites and it seems to bloom a nice long time too.
