Can someone recommend a floriferous yellow daylily cultivar with a green throat and reliable rebloom for PA zone 6b?

Thank you.

Do you care whether it's a dip or tet?

Both dips or tets are OK with me.

Many places sell 'Tequila and Lime', which is a dormant.
I have never grown it, so cannot say (I am also 6b), but I see it around vendor sites often.
Supposed to be a rebloomer.
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Tequila and Lime')

'Free Wheelin' is yellow with a green throat and high budcount, and rebloom. But it does have dark chevrons as well as yellow base-color.
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Free Wheelin'')

Or this one:
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Kermit's Eye')

Tequila and Lime does not rebloom for me but it has a very long flowering period in my garden (70-80 days). Going Bananas repeats usually but has not really a green throat. Confused

Nightlily,
Thank you for the information you provided.

I added Going Bananas at the end of last summer. It has buds but no blooms yet.

70-80 days of bloom for Tequila and Lime sounds fabulous, just as good or better than reblooming, to me. Is it a robust plant?

I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Plant Identifier
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Little Lemon Twist')
Doesn't really have a throat color to my eye, but I have this and it blooms alot for me.

Green Mystique is only on its 2nd year here, but has rebloomed both years and multiplied well.

I see that it was hybridized by Stamile, whose cultivars I have admired for a long time. I also noticed that it has seven-way branching. Do the scapes fall over from being too heavy with buds and blooms? Perhaps its tetraploidy confers heavy-duty substance that enables the scapes to stand up without falling over. (I have this problem with tall bearded irises, and that is why I am sensitive to this possibility and would prefer to avoid cultivars with drooping scapes.)

I would doubt you would get any where near seven way branching up in Zone 6a.

You are close to woodcrest daylilies in Lititz. They have a Facebook page and website. They are having weekend open houses. You could go visit the garden. They have over 800 varieties. You might find something you like

I mentioned this is its 2nd season, a few branches have 5 way, no 7 though. A few scapes have fallen after we had a storm with heavy winds and rain, the majority were fine. Of course, I saw a lot of that, winds were really bad, lost a tree after that one. I am really impressed with this one.

It's growing here in a half shady place outside the garden in front of the house - no special care and crowded space. The color and the flower form is quite perfect here - it gets sun only from 3 p.m. until sunset - but we live in a quite warm climate.

Unfortunately I don't have representative clump foto - this was the last flower in 2020.

I did not much observation on this plant but as far as I have noticed it seems to be a constant rebloomer - never without open flowers from the beginning of the season.

This is the first flower from last year (look at the time stamps):

Just took some pictures of the plant for you:

As you can see there are at least 3 different heights of scapes on it - the plant is not flowering yet - but will start within the next week and it has buds for many weeks to go.

28" to 38" tall or so scapes.
5" or larger flower.

Jolly Good Yellow is a nice one but rebloom is not reliable. It blooms from mid June to end of July for me. In rare years, it will send up a rebloom scape and may have some blooms in September.

Thumb of 2021-07-03/kousa/d589f0

Limonero Squeeze is another nice yellow but it is too new to know if it will reliably rebloom.
