Oh boy!! That is a wonderful Brassidium. Shooting Star huh, very appropriate name. But 'mustard' as a clonal name?? I am not so sure about that?!

OK, my last photos of Emerald Isle. Each of the four flowers developed a little bit different lip coloration. I apologize for the one blurry photo. I'm holding the camera up over my head and can't tell if something is in focus or not.

Now I know a great many of us are probably familiar with Leptotes unicolor and Leptotes bicolor. This little charmer is Leptotes bohnkiana. It looks just like a smaller version of bicolor.

I included a pencil eraser so that you might be able to appreciate the size of the flower a little more.
Thumb of 2021-07-01/BigBill/c3a2d6

The flowers are pure white with bright amethyst on the sizable lip. They measure .75 cm. Wide and the same tall. Foliage and bulbs remind me more of bicolor. This is a sweet little miniature mounted on cork bark.
Thumb of 2021-07-01/BigBill/0d3eaf

Who would not be able to find room for this?? The plant measures less then 4" tall be 3" wide, including the mount!!!

Wow, what a great show here today!

Bill the tiny Leptotes is just adorable - so very small, it reminds me that I used to have Epi. magnoliae, the Green Fly orchid mounted on a little bit of bark, about the same size as that. Some critter carried it off, or it otherwise has disappeared into my jungle.

Lindsey and Tara, those spotty ones are both just fabulous.

Ursula, the colors on your Vandas are just stunning.

Just a repeat for me, C. gaskelliana coerulea now with 2 of 3 nice flowers open. It's big brother seems to be an anomaly, as the flowers have similar form and the same colors, but are nearly twice the size with floppy dorsal sepals. Shrug! Blinking
