Please help! I recently lost a Harison's Yellow that had been growing on my property for approximately 80 to 100 years. I had to move it due to renovations and it sadly did not survive the move. I am heartbroken. I have contacted numerous nurseries who specialize in heritage and antique roses but have been unsuccessful, and none of my gardening friends seem to have any either. I'm getting desperate! Does anyone know where I might be able to get a rooting or start? Any leads would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you @porkpal and @margieny, I have reached out to Green Mantle but have not yet gotten a response. Fingers crossed! It's so nice to know that people are helping me with my search, it seems almost hopeless.

Hmm , I spoke with her recently because I ordered another rose from her. Did you call her at this number (707) 986-7504 ?
Did you fill out the order form with the deposit and send it to her?

Another to place try is Help Me Find on Harison's Yellow page, then use the Garden tab and see if you can PM them about cuttings or maybe they will root it for you.

I spoke with the owner of Greenmantle on Sat.
I told her that we both had a hard time getting in touch with her via phone. I had to wait a very long time before a tape came on. After leaving a message, she called me back within a few mins. She is looking forward to your phone call.
Hope this helps.

@margieny, I spoke with Marissa today and she pledged that she would have two Harison's ready for me in the spring. Thank you so much for reaching out, I would have never found her without you. Out of curiosity, what did you order from her? I am not trying to be nosey, just interested in what others are buying. Thank you again!

This year, I purchased and received Blue Skies and Vesper.
Glad to hear everything worked out for you.
