 to the iris forum jl.unfortunately, you've picked 2 of the most prolific/difficult colored irises that are not easily identifiable; both the ensata, and the bearded iris. they're difficult, to identify by photo, and the sheer number that look almost the same as the photos submitted, perhaps, you can write a description of the height, season of bloom, fragrance, any other distinguishing features? sorry, i cannot help, but perhaps someone else maybe able to recognize the irises you've posted. |

If you have a clear picture of the flower from straight on, that shows the shape of the falls and any ruffling.. or showing how the markings are around the beard and hafts.. and especially how wide the plicata bands are.. Plicatas are difficult.. I've been trying to identify one for years, and have bought many to try to match.. No luck yet.. That said..take a look at Rococo or maybe Jesse's Song, although I think yours maybe older. The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us. |
