Clarification: are the blooms in the image just beginning to open? Or is the narrow bloom normal for this cultivar? Or is this just a small sized flower? The image just looks like the blooms haven't opened completely.

I sure like the color and the way the sunlight is coming from behind. Smiling

I just looked up some pictures in the database. A beautiful deep red daylily! All pictures wide open, too. You must have captured your image just as the flowers were beginning to open. Lovely!
