Just thought I'd add the Spring 2013 Migration of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds to the forum, so we can see the Ruby-throated Hummers make their move northward on a daily basis.

Click (refresh or reload) the link.

What, the western part of the US doesn't get Ruby Throated?

Toni,

I don't know of any map for the western US (and/or for any other part of the US). You could do a google search for it.

I just click on this link/map to see when the Ruby Throated Hummers come our way. They're the only ones for us.

I've been clicking onto the 2014 Spring Migration of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds for a few days.

Scroll down to the US and you'll see there have been reports of sightings in the southern states lately.

Just found this thread! My salvias got bit hard this winter, and they're are just starting to rebound. Saw on the map that the hummers have already been spotted here. Big Grin I've not seen any yet, but I guess I better get my feeders cleaned up and back out there! Whistling I better get busy!!!! Thumbs up

We're getting cold and snowy weather this weekend into Monday, but I'll probably get mine up by the following weekend or so. Last year I had 2 - 4 feeders up at mid March. Changed the sugar solution every other day while I was waiting, but had to put out the welcome mat for them! Thumbs up

Let us know when you see them! Thumbs up
