|I have a L shaped Ginger Bed that I made 9 years ago .. it still has the original wood borders I made and I’m amazed they haven’t rotted. The short side of the bed houses new arrivals and Costus. On the long side its all hedychiums.
When I finally got around to digging up the ginger bed, it was three years after their due date and I should have known last year that it was already at critical mass. Oddly enough, I never noticed what was happening to one side of the ginger bed until it was empty .. they were heading due East.
"The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country. "
