Beautiful banner Laurie!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

How sweet a field of these Blue Flax must look; but we're lucky enough to see them spread across in the banner.

Beautiful banner, Laurie. Thumbs up
I used to grow blue flax at my previous home,
but somehow can't get it to grow here.
But you've inspired me to try again. Smiling

True blue flowers are always special because they're few and far between. I never had any luck growing this one, but I don't hold that against it!

Thank you to all of you for your comments and likes (and an acorn, too, from Fleur!). This is one of my favorite flowers. Seems to like a low-fertile, sharp-draining, dry soil. I agree about the blueness---an almost true blue that always makes me smile. Smiling
