I'm looking for variegated iris. I have lots to trade or would love to buy. I grow over 100 varieties if you're interested in trading. I'm also working on my Dyke's medal winners garden. Somehow I just got started on this and am looking for almost all of these as well. Please let me know if you have any!

Welcome! to the iris forum Hurray!

What country do you live in? If you live in Australia, I recommend taking a look at Smokin Heights. I know they are using variegated irises in their breeding. They usually publish their catalog and add irises for sale on their website around September/October each year.

Zanniebobanny ~ Welcome! to the Iris Forum!

Do you have a list of irises that can be divided for trading? And a list of ones that you are wanting? It is almost past digging time in some areas. They should be planted soon, depending on your area.

When you have the time you can make plant lists in your profile.

Too late! I dug up Variegated Wonder and Dots and Splashes that went to our club sale.. Mid America has introduced several, and Sutton has some... Blue J Iris sells several variegates, if I recall correctly, but it's probably too late this year... Also worth noting, most of the older introductions, are weak growers.. There are some exceptions.. like both variegated pallidas, for example..

I looked for variegated very early when stores opened, Blue J's only had several this year, Mid America had 1-or 2 and Sutton's was a new intro for $55.

I would have loved Variegated Wonder or Dots and Splashes...I think you mentioned them in the previous thread.
