Autumn in the Japanese Garden

One of the gazebos (left) and the Chashitsu (tea house, right) add structural interest to a scene that is filled with color, and enhanced by reflections at the boulder-lined lake shore

A wonderful capture, so rich in color and charm. Amazing how sometimes with such space restriction, a banner like this is produced. ⛩ ⛩ ⛩ ⛩ ⛩

Here's the original shot. It's a panorama, so because of NGA's algorithm for reducing input images, you won't be able to see anymore details of what shows in the banner, you can at least see more of the surroundings.

If you'd like to see a version that can fill the width of a screen of a computer monitor, here's a link to my full resolution version on smugmug. Even that isn't as crisp and detailed as I could wish, though.

Thanks everybody for continued encouragement for my participation in the banners. It's fun to be part of this group effort to 'share the love' of nature and photography.
