It's everywhere! The stems and leaves are fuzzy.

The leaves look so familiar. Does it have tendrils for climbing? How high is does it climb?

Yes it climbs up the play structure, but not up the trees. We have some renegade English Ivy back there also that goes up the house and trees while our backs are turned. Grrrr...

Honeysuckle? Just a tentative guess.

It certainly seems to behave like honeysuckle. Has it ever bloomed?

Can you give a fuller shot of the vine, where we can see more of it and maybe that will trigger a better idea of what it is. Close ups are great and always needed but an overall shot of it can help alot also.

It doesn't look like any Mandevilla I've ever seen but my senior brain is sometimes very forgetful and although those soft, fuzzy leaves and stems look very familiar, I'm still drawing a blank.

Garderner2493 and Porkpal suggested Honeysuckle and I wonder if it could be the one of the invasive varieties:

Bush Honeysuckle (Lonicera tatarica)

Morrow Honeysuckle (Lonicera morrowii)

@plantladylin I have had experiences with those, and the leaves do look very similar. But in terms of habit, they are not really a match. The poster mentioned that the plant was a vine, and the honeysuckles you mentioned are bushes.

I'll take another picture after work today. It's definitely a vine and not a bush.

I didn't see any tendrils so I thought perhaps it was a scandent type shrub.

I'm thinking some kind of matelea also.

Lonicera tartarica and morrowii are not scandent.

Does it look like this? I grew Matelea many years ago, and yours looks very close to what I remember mine looking like...

The other vine I grow that looks similar is Aristolochia californica, but I don't recall the leaves being opposite.. Plus, unlikely that it just showed up everywhere.. It's been very well behaved for me.

Do the leaves have a scent when rubbed? Do torn leaves emit a milky substance?
