A furniture store. They had other "uncommon" plants such as stephanotis so it might be something on the rarer side?

I'm not coming up with anything other than Dischidia.

It might be Hoya bilobata.

Thanks for the shout-out but I've looked @ this a few times and I'm like a sick tree - stumped! Seeing the reverse side of the foliage, or the tips where the new leaves are forming, could jog someone's recognition memory. Or just closer/bigger pics at all. Snipping off a tip or leaf and finding white sap inside would be evidence toward Hoya (but also a lot of other plants. IDK if Dischidia would be one of those.)

The photos don't enlarge for me either and my first thought was maybe a variety of Curio but they don't have pubescent stems.

Maybe Aeschynanthus?
