I found a content farm that makes "gardening hacks" .

Most of them are faked, the others overcomplicated, only a few are actually helpful.

Let's see how many problems we can find within this one video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Just in the beginning, I see:
1. they plant dragonfruit but get a schlumberga
and at 1:57 they planted crassula but got Garlic attached to the leaf?!?!???! What!?!?

That was a captivating 16 minutes! A bunch of them made me think of @purpleinopp. Tiffany, you'll love this stuff👍

I'm sure I missed many bloopers, but did spot a cucurbit seed growing into a rosebush, and spinach turning into heads of lettuce. 😆

TY for the shout-out. I've seen these kids of vids before. Always wondered why they mix real hacks with fake plant stuff...?

I agree — some ideas look simple and logical and then they show total nonsense. I wonder if the idea people are separate from the people who create the videos...the ones who can't tell their asses from asters! Hilarious!

5 minute crafts and it's family (They have over like 200 channels of the same stuf) are just one big content farm.

they used make good hack videos (the actually useful hacks) but then.... they got so into the "Quantity > Qulity" so they just started faking.

they make so much money to the point they copy clips from old videos into new ones, so nearly all content sometimes in a video is repeated (thus the weird ordering of good and bad hacks)..

sedumzz your comments were especially funny. How you caught all the wrong plants is way beyond me and fact of just figuring it out what was who..? Sort of like funniest videos watching kids trying challenges explode…

Well my hyperactive brain couldn't keep up with all those slick ideas… really impressive & wow did those roses really turn those dyed colors as they grew from those lil water containers with colors added buried in the soil …one on the left red the other on the right yellow... Rolling on the floor laughing gee wizzz, would that work with hydrangeas?

A really stinky mess … I have used buttermilk and moss in my blender, then painted on garden deco it never worked. Just turned into a sticky messy goo of mold. Of course no one told me that moss just naturally grows on everything that doesn't move even between your toes if u stand in 1 place long enough…different moss for differ surfaces , reminds me of …'Different strokes for different folks'… Confused

Needless to say watching that triggered a hyper stage and I can't stop thinking of all the garden hacks tried over the years….I could go on … but…' let's don't and say we did'…. Grumbling

Ok now I got a Headache… D'Oh! time for a chocolate fix.

Bea, You crack me up! Rolling on the floor laughing

BTW, I know a really cool chocolate hack! First, put some chocolate and moss in a blender...

When I think "chocolate hack" I think about how ya need the giant knife for those solid bunnies or other giant chocolate items. Gotta hack up that chocolate to eat it w/o breaking my teeth.

Chocolate is either broken with a mallet or cut with a steel wire, such as an old guitar chord. Never use a knife.

Is that functional or cultural advice?

ElPollo - the more I think about this the more puzzled I become; why NOT use a knife? I'm all ears!

I'm wondering if the guitar sting is heated? Otherwise wondering how I would leverage enough power to cut chocolate. Getting something filled with peanut butter is usually easier to cut. Or just get fudge. ; )

But the hack about cutting cake with dental floss is brilliant! So much icing is lost sticking to a knife. Truly a crime if it's chocolate icing, except when you're the one who gets to "clean" that knife.

What's so funny about hacks is they're usually so cool, but so rarely about anything I actually need to do.

Or - do you really want to use a grungy "old guitar string" to cut something you're planning to eat? Sticking tongue out
