Looks familiar but I can't think of a name. At the base of Adenium purchased about a month ago, so it could be a tropical weed or something that blew into the pot after I got it. TIA!

Is it fleshy like a succulent? If so, you might look at Hoya Kerrii that has heart-shaped leaves. Also check out Pepperomia incana that has a heart-shaped leaf. I'm just throwing out ideas, mind you.

Appreciate the suggestions! The leaves are very thin, delicate.

Probably Amaranthus spp. based on the shape of the young leaves.

I'm not sure but my first thought was that they reminded me of Amaranthus blitum seedlings.

Ya know, peanut leaves look a lot like that. Someone on Reddit gardening posted their peanut plant today.

Ah, but the leaves of the plant in question aren't compound like peanuts.

Thank you so much for the suggestion efforts! I'm wondering if it's Kummerowia. Because it's a "weed" I would love to have, it's doubtful. I never get any of the weeds I want. LOL!

No, your plant is definitely an amaranth. Compare to fig.1 in this link: https://www.canr.msu.edu/news/...

I was not saying it's that specific variety, just how amaranth seedlings generally look.
