I have no idea what type of cactus/succulent this is. But I just noticed these tiny clear balls all over it. They are solid (not squishy or sticky). Should I be concerned?!

It looks like it may be Euphorbia tirucalli. I've not see that on any of mine.

I'd go with the Euphorbia and the globs are dried guttate. (!!???!!) Guttation is the exuding of sap when the soil moisture is high (for the plant type) and so is the humidity. It's harmless, but a good indicator that one or the other moisture level needs to change.

Yes, Euphorbia tirucalli. Yes, guttation (edema).

It's possible but I think I would have seen this if it was something so ordinary as guttation or oedema. Maybe really dry air could be a factor, which would be a very unlikely condition around my place.
If you snip one of the tips off and find white sap inside, it's Euphorbia. If you decide to do this, be careful because the white sap is caustic and you don't want to get it on your skin or much worse, in your eye.

Now I'm confused... This is your plant?

No, sorry. I have a bunch of these plants and have never seen this on any of them.

Its kind of a perfect storm sort of thing. Warm soil, cool humid nighttime air and too much moisture in the rootzone. Plants without leaves don't respirate well. Sometimes its a reaction to irregular watering.

Living infinity scarf ๐
Thanks for all the help! The watering would make sense, so I'll adjust it and see! As long as I know the plant (and it's shelfmates) are safe from harm!
Mine is also more droopy then traditional pencil trees, which is why I'm thinking it's a mistletoe cactus. I'll post some examples:

Its easy to tell. Break a stem. All Euphorbia have white sap.

Be sure not to touch the sap and especially not to get it in your eyes. Euphorbia sap can be an extreme irritant (as Tiffany pointed out earlier, but it doesn't hurt to repeat this fact).

My Sansevieria cylindrica does a lot of that guttation thingy as well, but only after I watered it once a week.
Does that mean that the soil isn't loose enough or water retention too high?
get the mlems in! Don't let them get wet or stale outside, come on!

Its not an overwatering issue, that would cause rot. Its a combination of moisture in the soil, humidity in the air and temperatures. It never happens at my house because the humidity is too low.
