I planted Made You Blush in September of 2020. It seemed to take its time this summer but it does appear to be settling in. It only threw four flowers but I believe that the plant has added some fans and looks robust. I'm expecting more action next year.

This variety has been on my wishlist since I saw this incredible photo taken by Pat Cochenour in the Daylily Journal:

It was planted this spring, but already sent up two delicate scapes with flowers of most beautiful form. The pink could be purer - in the mornings especially, it has a warm, beige tint to its petals. But it is pretty, opens well even with our chilly nights and sea breeze and loves the camera Sticking tongue out

MADE YOU BLUSH had a beautiful orchid like bloom and I grew it for a number of years. Alas, over time, I found it not to be a very strong plant in this climate, so it was sold off several years ago. The hybridizer , Pat Cochenour, was a special daylily friend, and I've kept all the others I've gotten of hers. Most are exceptionally good plants.

Pat Cochenour was a friend and a member of our local club and is dearly missed. A trip to her hybridizing patch followed up by doing our "ladies who lunch" thing was a real treat.

Made You Blush doesn't have a very high bud count for me (15) but that may attributable to my culture. I sell from time to time on the Lily Auction and Francois Verhaert bought it from me there and wanted whatever else I had to sell for the next couple of years so I think it might be widely grown in Europe, which is great.
