I propagated an off-schute from a stem, & I'm curious if it will stay like a shrub or if it will grow itself a cane given many years.

LOTS of info in there but, back to your question, yes. after about 4 or 5 years it should have a nice "trunk" of its own.

Can you upload a photo of the off-shoot, cutting of your Spineless Yucca (Yucca gigantea) ? I've taken stem cuttings over the years and stuck them in soil where they produce roots rather quickly; lower leaves can be removed to reveal the main stem/cane.

Sure, here it is. All the roots you see have been from about 6ish weeks since I put the cutting in, I was surprised it worked first try! Since yucca generally are drought tolerant I don't really understand how putting it straight into water doesn't kill it?
