After a cold front, now we are in a record-breaking rainfall and it will almost make up for an entire month of the dry February in one day. Yesterday I took some pictures of roses with leafing out, not pretty but beautiful enough to hint me how glorious they will be later in such miserable weather.

But our low light exposure winter has its bright side. My Kalanchoe bought last November starts the second blooming! Hurray!

Aerith, very inspiring! And I love it when people make use of the parkway (the area between the sidewalk and the street) for loved plants like roses!

Thank you Susan. The parkway is 5' wide, so I thought why not grow some roses there. There they go. In fact, that area gets the most sunlight in my garden (12hr in summer). Fortunately they all grow very well for me and the neighbors like them too. We always start a chat easily about those beautiful flowers. Smiling

Oh Aerith that is wonderful! Your Roses look so sweetly lush with green and red! Love your Kalanchoe! Blooms are so welcome now.
