Corner Blocks for Raised Beds in the Garden Structures forum

Just saw this written up. Corner blocks for raised beds, with slots for 2x planks and a center hole for a rebar stake.

They can be stacked.

I wonder if the composite wood would fit in these corner blocks? Real wood rots so quick here in Florida.

It would fit very loosely, since the blocks are made for 2x6" lumber and the composite wood is slightly less than 1" thick. (Unless the composite wood comes in other thicknesses.) It would probably be possible to add some "spacers" where the boards slip into the blocks, though. A 2x6 board is actually 1-1/2 inches thick.
