What are these red spider like bugs on my strawberry plant? They don't seem to move from the same leaf. I knocked them off once and they all came back on a different leaf.

An assassin bug nymph. They just recently hatched and usually hang out for awhile. I can't tell you which species, exactly, there are so many.

You may want to look very closely and compare with pictures of leaf footed bug nymphs.

You might want assassin bugs as they are predatory bugs, but you may not want leaf footed bugs because they will eat your strawberries and the plants.

I am thinking they might be leaf footed bug nymphs. Any advice on how to get rid of them?

They're real easy to knock into the palm of your hand and squish...

i agree that leaf-foot bugs is more likely than assassin bugs, due to the number of them.

This Spring... I've been catching the leaf foot adults mating on my poppy pods... and squishing. More recently I've been seeing groups of babies on these same pods, where I wasn't fast enough seeing some of the adults...

I usually see them moving to the tomato plants after the poppy pods are all gone.
