Hi everyone!
I was hoping that someone might have some insight as to what I'm doing wrong with my peace lily.

It's droopy and has brown lines on the stems, but it's still producing new leaves and (I think) the roots look ok.

I've tried to stake it, but that doesn't seem to help.

I have let it get too dry in the past, but I read that after watering it should bounce back in a few hours/days, and mine never bounced back. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

I am no expert on house plants, but to me that plant appears to be quite root bound. It probably needs to be repotted into a larger container. That looks like a 1 gallon container. I'd consider a 3 gallon container or maybe larger.
I tip my hat to you.

Hi! Fra1; You can also divide the plant into three individual plants with a bigger container for each of them.

I think your plant is a Calla lily (Zantedeschia hybrida), not a Peace lily (Spathiphyllum sp),
Most Calla lilies normally has brown purplish spots /checker markings on leaf stalks/petioles, along with white (translucents spots on leaf blades) especially those derived from Zantedeschia rehmannii parentage). They are tuberous, less suitable for indoor plants in a long term, since they often grow weak petioles, droopy and falls if lights are inadequate. they also goes dormant easily.

I agree tofitropic. (I couldn't figure it out as a peace lily, Calla makes perfect sense)
Plant it and they will come.

You're welcome Fra1, and Welcome to the forum.

Although it is not as easily grown as house plant compares to Peace lily, Calla lilies can also be grown indoor. perhaps put it on the brightest spot near the window.
If you re-pot the plant and it goes dormant, reduce watering during dormant period (they also often dormant in cold season). Come spring, it can be put out side at the patio and it might produce lovely blooms in pinks, yellow, white or purplish depending on variety.
Mean while you can enjoy them as foliage plant, and it seems grow well with you there.
