I photographed this perhaps Inula species in the botanical garden of Crete, there was no name plate. Any of you recognize this one?

My first thought was 'fleabane', so I looked for yellow-flowered Erigeron species. By accident, I found out that there's another genus with 'fleabane' as the common name, so now I'm wondering if your charming plant might be Pulicaria odora or a close relation? What do you think? Thinking

Very, very well done!! If not it, it is definitely very close. And growing on Crete. It's former name was Inula odora! I've renamed my pictures.
