Hello. I am looking for a clemantis for zone 10b, southern California. It will be in a container in some shade, although there is sun on the fence it will grow on. I would prefer blue/pink/rose/purple or lavender. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

oakslesly, there are a lot of clematis that you can grow in 10b. Will this be your first one? I would stick to the common ones first to see how you do before doing the
more specialized ones. Google clematis for your zone to see what would work best for you there. Best of luck!!

Hello. I used your clemantis site to try to find one that would do well in a container in zone 10b, southern California. There would be partial shade. I hoped for a blue/pink/rose/purple color. Your site couldn't find ANY that would work. Suggestions please.

I get 46 results for clematises that will grow in partial shade in zone 10. You might be choosing the wrong search characteristics and misspelling the name of the plant. It's Clematis, not Clemantis.
