I find most Hoyas very easy to grow. My Hoyas stay outdoors year round in my screened pool enclosure where they are exposed to filtered sunlight all day and they seem to enjoy the humid conditions here in Florida but many people keep Hoyas as indoor house plants and some people grow them in their greenhouse structures.
I think Hoya carnosa is probably one of the easiest to grow. I had one for more than 35 years before downsizing my plant collection and giving it away. My
Wax Plant (Hoya pubicalyx) is from a small cutting I got in trade about 17 years ago and it's been easy in my opinion and it blooms off and on all year for me.
