It is blooming now but I can't go check on age changes because I just got back to Toronto and my garden is 3 hours away. What about temperature changes? It's been cooler than normal here and very wet. Here's a picture from last year. Looks like it's more creamy in the middle. Lots of heat and sun last year. Vs. This year ![]() |

Well according to the Iowa region it isn't Rosy Cheeks. Here's links to their pages for Rosy Cheeks and Iowa Rose. http://www.iowaregionallilysoc... http://www.iowaregionallilysoc... |

Nah, that's Iowa Rose ~ far superior to Rosy Cheeks, beauty-wise. Where are we going, and why am I in this hand-basket? |

Henrys Surprise is my last Asiatic to bloom. |
Yep, I cast my vote for Iowa Rose now. Henry's Surprise is a weird one with unusual genetics. I forget exactly what but from time to time I see it discussed on other forums. |

Good to see that you still have Henry's Surprise ~ I lost mine a few years ago. Where are we going, and why am I in this hand-basket? |

Mags, you must have some good daylily parents. I did a few pollinations on some older varieties. Pods forming on most. Daylilies are sooo much easier than lilies from seeds. Love your Asiatic babies too. Who is the mommy and daddy? |

I love daylilies that look like they're going to jump up and bite you! Where are we going, and why am I in this hand-basket? |

Your know my other love is daylilies right? That is one exquisite seedling!!!!! "A GARDEN IS A LITTLE PATCH OF HEAVEN ON EARTH" |
It was seed I bought three years ago, I think from the Lily Auction for the daylily. They are waaaaay easier to start and grow. Liliums are fussier and take more time. I started a whole bunch 3 years ago and haven't done any since. Still, lilums have my heart. The cross on both of those is Calendar Girl and Pink Cream. Can you see it now? There's a his and a hers. ![]() Tracey |

Very nice, Pink Cream is one of my all time favorites! "A GARDEN IS A LITTLE PATCH OF HEAVEN ON EARTH" |
Yeah, I can see it ![]() |
I thought they were such adorable babies and totally look like mom and dad. The Pink Creamish one looks like it could look like a side facing Pink Cream. How cute would that be? Okay...I am way too excited. I am truly honored to work with such wonderful material. Tracey |
I like those outfacing and downfacing lilies. They don't get spoiled from pollen dropping on the petals. |

In the last years Anthony have snet me pollen from some of his lilies. That have given me a great opportunity to do crosses with lilies that I don't grow. The first seedling from such cross are this one. It's a cross between yellow tigerlily and Lowana.![]() Ille bra,se. |
