Here are a few more photos from my garden. This won't be a great year for lilies for me. Last fall I culled both seedlings and named cultivars. Filled up a big yard recycle bin with bulbs and stems. I have reduced the size of the lily seedling bed to half what it was, the other half I have converted to Japanese irises and their seedlings. I replanted the bulbs I chose to save and most won't bloom because the bulbs were small. I still have the lily bed off my patio and around the perimeter of my house but many of those aren't thriving.

I got another photo of McRae's 'Accent' before it faded into the sunset. I am not a big fan of orange but this one really stood out in the garden.

Alexly made it back for another year:

This is an unknown. There was no label to be found this spring and going through my photo archives I found that I labeled as a NoID in the past. Blooms appear to be in a tight umbel. I think it is a seedling:

Love the refreshing colors of Alexly. I always save the younger bulbs, too.

Gosh - mine are only budded, not blooming yet!
They're Home Depot lilies. Nothing special, but attractive nonetheless!
I'm looking forward to them - especially after seeing your lovelies!

Jmorth usually leads off the parade the Midwest. Can't wait to see that beatifull example of 'Awesome'. And that 'Pink Perfection', as I remember, is one of the nicest examples of Pink Perfection around. We'll have plenty to look at from here on. Smiling

The oriental poppies were a bust.Damp, rain, wind, buds rotted and petals were blown off or dropped early.
Lilies are going to be great.I cant believe after spring of '12 when they grew half size they would ever come back. They are heartier than ever.
