Plant ID forum: Climbing hydrangea?

This was at the house we bought, climbing up an old rock wall/stairs and seems quite vigorous. It is kind of taking over. I think it is a hydrangea? Anyone know what kind?

Located in midcoast Maine, marshy area, full sun.

I'm not real familiar with Hydrangea but there are two "climbing" Hydrangea's listed in the database with a couple of photo's for comparison:
