Have you seen the Spotted Lanternfly in your garden? It is an invasive specie and should be destroyed according to the DNR.
It is a real problem for grapes, apples, Maple trees & more.

That would be great news. The marmorated stinkbug seems to have declined after a few bad years, similarly.
I have not seen it south of Baltimore MD, but it has appeared in some northern counties in Maryland.

Marmorated stink bugs seem minimal now. And I had a new invasive on my Euonymus about a dozen years ago. It defoliated the hedge a few times and made some mess of cocoons around windows, but seems to have moved on or died out, which surprised me.
A lot of new pests do that. We had horrendous damage from Invasive Shothole Borers about 10 years ago that devastated willows and sycamores for a few years. They're still around but not as bad.
