Such a lovely garden! How long have the hellebores been in - they appear to have a nice spreading habit. Would you consider them slow growers? They are supposedly deer resistant! Would like to add some of them to my garden too. Nice photos!!
Thanks Jan. The hellebores have been there for quite a few years. They take some time to mature (3 to 5 years) and are definitely deer resistant. I have a fair bit of deer traffic back there and they have never touched the hellebores.
Two years ago we removed a large spruce. This year the garden I have been working on in its footprint is really going to pop. Mostly going for really bright colors. The salvia is already making a statement
