I goofed and didn't look at the underleaf when purchasing this cutie, which has something weird going on. Please help. Do I need to be the person I hate being and return her (bought 4/14/24), or can I save her? I am keeping her outside so she doesn't get my other plants sick, but initially had her next to a peace lilly and various propagations. Do I need to keep an eye on those now?

Hi and Welcome! to the site!

Your Mini Monstera (Rhaphidophora tetrasperma) (which is also sold as Philodendron Ginny and Philodendron Piccolo) looks okay to me but hopefully one of our more knowledgeable Aroid growers like @Gina1960 will take a look at your photos and be able to offer advice.

That is called EDEMA. It happens when the plant is overwatered, and takes up too much water too fast, and the cells in the leaves get waterlogged and burst.
Let it dry out some. Look at the potting soil. If it's too heavy, repot it into a better draining mix. Then be careful not to overwater.

I can tell just from the photos that you posted that this is potted in something that is not well draining and will hold way too much water. You want a lighter airy mix with lots of perlite, some fir bark, maybe a few aliflor (LECA) ball mixed in....

Agree with others... this plant is just holding on to WAY too much water. I would invest in aroid soil, personally. You can also get houseplant soil and add in some perlite, bark, coco coir, etc. It's certainly going to a next level of "plant person" to consider species appropriate soil but it helps a plants health overall.
Monsteras are aroids so in nature they tend to grow on trees a lot of the time and so get moisture from rain and humidity, not from roots in soil. We can definitely still plant them in soil but want to make sure it's appropriate for their needs. Anything you buy from a big box store is going to have crap soil, and should be repotted IMO. Check out this link on aroids - https://nycplantdoctor.com/pla...
Hope this helps!

A simple thank you but this has been resolved would have been a more appropriate response.

5 months is about half of a blink in "plant time."

Even if the post is old, new people come to it from google searches and stuff. Sarah's post added insight and helpful information for future readers. There's no point in adding noise to a thread about it being old.

@dave ive noticed a lot of people, moderators included, speaking up when a post is old.
I looked at the OP's profile before I posted that it was old. Because, as I suspected, the OP joined in 2022. But has made a total of 2 (two) posts in all that time.
This one about the Ginny was their last if 2 posts
I meant nothing by saying it was 'old' other that to alert s Clark that the Op seems to have left the NGA, and they might never get an answer
The fact that she took offense isn't really my fault
