Okay, I give up. Let's have our own daylily gardens art and decor thread. Please join in and add your wonderful art, projects and creative ideas ... where they won't 'disappear' with the seasonal topics.
A re-showing of a recent 'on the porch' posting of solar fountains and birdbaths...
cascading bowls
fishie
frogger
And the 2-tier resin fountain that I've had about 10 years and repainted this year.
And because this should not just be a repost - my 'lighthouse' is also being repainted this year, and the solar light for the top (which quit a year ago) is being replaced. Here is the 'before' pic... you will have to wait to see how it turns out.
Life is what happens while you are making other plans.
Well, even though I love art in the garden, I don't do ceramics or make any garden art myself. However, I do like to play with photos in Adobe Photoshop, so here are some collages of some items currently in my garden that I have received as gifts or have purchased.
Christmas gifts from my husband.
Concrete statues inherited from my father- and mother-in-law
My DH repainted these butterflies and they turned out so beautiful!
Birthstone bees from the kids for Mother's Day last year.
I enjoy going to craft shows and picking up these welded pieces. A horseshoe frog and a grasshopper with a body made from what looks like a railroad spike.
May all your weeds be wildflowers. ~Author Unknown
See? I may have been "right" about the need for this thread after all? .... 😉 Thanks, Dianne! Loving all the garden art shares. 🥰
Vickie, those bees are especially cute! 🐝 Love that idea and your husband really did do a beautiful job on those butterflies! 🦋 The welded pieces are so creative! 💡
I don't have much but here is an artistic shot of my new bird bath under a partly cloudy sky.
My new napping cat tucked in under the holly
I got some of these solar gnomes for Christmas... admittedly they are not my thing. But I put them out anyway...

@Zoia I have several pieces of garden art that need repainting. How about I ship them to you?
Seriously, I was wondering what type of paint you used and did you airbrush some of that? The spinner almost looks air-brushed to me. You did a beautiful job on all your repaints. I am thinking I may wait until Winter to do mine, not wanting to waste any of my days without rain.

Donna, I bought enamel paint sets on Amazon. No, I'm just using brushes but it's easy to blend onto the previous paintjob. I'm also changing some colors, brightening up a few things. I really like the iridescent paints the best, they have a nice metallic shine. I'm looking forward to updating my peacock spinners, I have two!

Zoia, Boy you have a lot of gorgeous garden art!! Every wind spinner you have I've been dreaming to acquire! I have three 42 inch high wind spinners, but the top pole of one broke from the bottom pole. I bought a replacement, but it's just slightly big enough for the entire pole to look like a slightly bent flamingo leg. I'm still working on that one. The second one is a bicycle where the wheels look like sunflowers that spin. The bottom pole broke on that one too. I repainted it several years ago, but it's peeling again. The third one is really psychadellic when it moves, but it gets stuck because of the unusual way it operates. Still working on that one too. Boy, I have a lot of work to do on my garden art! I do have a tall rose wind spinner that DD#1 gifted me for my birthday. I'll post a photo later.
I'm loving everything I've seen here so far!!
@SummerBee, I'm glad you wore Dianne ( @adknative ) down to start this thread for our DL world!
Our DL homies are free to either follow or not follow along. But the semi-artist in me can't resist following along!
Today, there is a hazardous weather outlook for the top half of Ohio, where the system may stall causing locally heavy rain. Looks like a good day for painting garden statues!
Today should be beautiful here but I'll probably still paint for part of it, as, other than weeding ( eternal) I don't have a lot of other stuff to do in the yard at the moment.
