I have had no clue til the last year or 2 that this was not the actual registered plant. It definitely has good plant habits, grows well, blooms pretty well. It is one of the 1st daylilies I started gardening with. Probably came from a box store, but I have had it so long I don't remember. I have divided and shared it numerous times, and still have 5 or 6 clumps of it. It is in the part of the garden that has to struggle against weeds, never gets water even in droughts, no fertilizer, and still nothing seems to bother it. No matter how it started, it is a keeper, especially in those places other plants do not do well. Edited to add, when I first found out that my Bonanza was wrong, I did a search of online daylily sales, every one had this as Bonanza. I have seen it for sale locally too. At this point in time, I think it is Bonanza

I don't know if I bought this so long ago I don't remember or if it was a Daylily I inherited with the house. Either way, it is a strong bloomer and an eye catcher. I don't have any stats for it as I don't keep track of it but Bonanza is always impressive. It will always be Bonanza to me, even if it isn't the original plant named Bonanza.

2024 update

Bonanza had a bad year. It is being squished by other plants, especially tall phlox. I am going to have to do some digging to free it up. Flowering was way down, I only saw 25 blooms this year, down from 61 last year. If I want to keep it, and I do, it's going to need my help.
