Photos 1, 4 and 5 look like fake plastic bait for fishing. I'd leave them out where the birds could find them for a snack. What region are you in? I've never seen anything like those before!

Garden millipedes! Second photo looks like related sowbugs, possibly. Cool.

Unless you have a population explosion or house invasion, they're beneficial garden friends. I notice several Internet articles about eradication, so I guess they can be pestiferous in numbers. I only see them occasionally and find then fascinating.

This year I've had a few of their cousins, house centipedes, in the house. They scuttle so fast and look so bizarre it's startling to encounter them, but they're also mostly harmless. I escort them outdoors.

I have three young mango trees on my closed in patio here in Tampa FL...and wasn't expecting the soil to move when I was looking for white scale with a headlamp at night. They must dig under the soil because by morning they are not visible.

Yes, I think they're nocturnal. Check out the article and find some others if you're interested. I googled that last one and was surprised at how big it is —Anadenobolus monilicornis aka Yellow Banded or Bumble Bee millipede. Native to the Caribbean.

Hilarious! Like something out of a horror movie! I spent many nights with a flashlight as a kid digging up earthworms for next day fishing on Lake Michigan with my Dad and Grandpa. But even I'm not sure I'd want to see those orange things!

Cool looking giant millipedes and sow bugs (pill bugs). Harmless. No need to destroy them.
Ban the GMO tomato!

Most of those multi-legged critters are helpful as they go for rotting organic material.
