To my eyes Oncidium roots and most Hoya roots are the same size.

I know I'm all over the place, that is normal for me.

I've decided to not do the split krohniana black/silver pots. I find the krohniana black grows more scraggly looking and think it would look better on its own.

.....I hope you will upload more photos when you get both of your Hoya kroniana plants potted together. They appear to be of good size so you may get blooms next summer!

You must have sent me good vibes! And you know your stuff!

I have a penduncle!!!!!!
I am ecstatic, my mind is blown
I know some of you understand my excitement 😅

I was just thinking how well this krohniana silver plant was doing when I zoned in on this funny looking leaf growing in. Could it be? Is it really? It threw out a peduncle?????

Here's some pics
Whole plant

Congratulations on the peduncle and buds on your Wax Plant (Hoya krohniana 'Super Silver') It won't be long before the pretty little fragrant white flowers will show themselves!

Thank you 😊

And thanks so much for all your help! I truly appreciate it!

I think I'll mount on the wall or hang from a planter in this space under a grow light

I have to admit it.
I was so annoyed and angry I didn't even want to talk about it.
I was trying to take a picture of how cute the tiny new leaves growing in are and I freaking dumped the whole plant upside-down!!!
I had it planted pretty lightly because everything was completely exposed, bark and soil everywhere and roots up in the air!

I got it planted back, the closest I could to how it was. I guess I did not bad. I hope it doesn't cause any lull in growth (used same media) or stunt the peduncle or cause it to drop.

I watered it lightly yesterday (I think) so I'll wait a couple days and water thoroughly like usual.

Hi! Yeah so I lost the peduncle, looks like it 'dried up'. But the plant on a whole seems to be doing alright (to my novice eyes).

Hi again, guess what? I still have a peduncle! I thought it dried up and dropped off, but it was just a stem. The peduncle is alive!
