It looks like about 8-10 seedlings in that pot that are too close to each other. If it was mine, I would unpot, separate the seedlings from each other, and probably put them back in that same pot but with more space between each one. That looks like a fine size pot for that group of seedlings if they were farther apart.
They're pretty tough, you won't hurt them if you exercise patience. The roots should still be small on such young plants. Agree that it looks like a parlor palm.

But it could be a cat palm. They're so similar and both easily found @ stores. Care is the same for both.
