I picked up this little curly spider plant about 2 or 3 months ago. It looked so healthy from the local plant shop I picked it up from but unfortunately I can't find a picture of when I 1st got it.

I hung it in my east kitchen window (it has a wood blind) but I have a hoya krimson queen thriving in that window, so I thought with the kitchen light, it might be enough.

This is what it looks like now

I'm thinking it didn't get enough light. The leaves look a bit droopy to me and the new growth is thin/fine.

So I temporarily moved it in front of some grow lights and opened the top few slats of the blind for when I move it back.

Also I guess I accidentally over watered (maybe) the plant because there was dirty water sitting in the bottom of the cache pot. The pot mix was almost bone dry. I realize spider plants don't like to dry out, that was my error, but wondering if the stale water sitting at the bottom (not soaking into the potting mix) would still cause it issues.

All I did was remove it from the cache pot, water with rainwater and move it in front of a grow light.

I manually curled the leaves lol. But seriously I think it's perking up under the grow lights.

Once it's doing a bit better, I'll try to repot it in a more suitable potting mix. Still trying to figure out what that is, but I'm thinking I should mix a bit of bark 🤔 I'll keep reading.

Also thinking I'll have to get a little grow light over it if I want to grow it in my window. Doesn't help that it has been overcast the last few days. Really makes me think I need more light!
