For September, first 2023-hybridized couple of sibs are pink, way better than yellow. Hurray!

Just so happy the blooms are not yellow (one of the parents is, it was a worry Crossing Fingers! ).

Hoping the bloom colors clear up over time. But so far so good.

Ok,
Some throwaways.
I have a nice striped seedling I crossed to spotted ones Purple Leopard and Freaking Awesome. First blooms are a bit meh.
Purple Leopard one:

Freaking Awesome one:
Thumb of 2024-09-13/plasko20/b45d3a

One of my yellow seedlings with red stripes I crossed with a sib (right - plain yellow) or (left) with Identity Crisis (latter parent has variegated leaves). That one had solid green leaves. I could cross back to IDC, but with that ugly face, I am not sure. Thinking
Also failures.

Anyhow, Good be be whittling them down now. The more I can get rid of the more I can grow next year. Whistling

Good start on the 1st post variegated blooms. Giving those a chance to bloom at normal time next year could see improvements in bloom color and form. It's nice to see that they weren't yellow! Thumbs up

That's a heck of a plant, Dave. Mine only got two waves of rebloom this year, but it's still clumping up.

I have 2 similar-looking siblings I crossed together and am growing a bunch of these babies.
The first of this bunch came out 100% yellow, so nothing is guaranteed in life.
Glad to see this next sibling FFE/2FO came out the right way:

Aleta Everett Adam's x Eyelash Kisses are pretty seedlings.

Patagonian Sunset x Playtex Living Glove, I saw the pleating in the other image you showed. Good color in the earlier image too (colors this late can be wonky) and the white edge is a nice touch. Good parents, hope you're planning on growing it out a year or 2 or 3.... Smiling
