I'm in zone 8a, Birmingham, Alabama.

Invasive and difficult to get rid of:
Arum italicum 'Marmoratum'
Japanese climbing fern (Lygodium japonicum)
Alstroemeria psittacina

Spreading but controllable:
Nandina domestica
Callicarpa americana
Miscanthus (many)
Physostegia virginiana
Pennisetums
Some alliums
Creeping Jenny
Liriope
Ruellia and Turks Cap (Malvaviscus arboreus) are not a problem as I have them in full sun and never water them.
Hope this helps,
Susan

Garlic chives, while loved by pollinators in August, throws a lot of seeds. I try and pull/cut off all the seeds before they dry and start dropping.
Plant it and they will come.

Clustered bell flower, Campanula glomerata 'Superba'. We fought that one for a long, long time. Also Rose of Sharon (Althea syriacus) will create scores of seedlings.

I have sweet autumn clematis. I cut it back after it blooms, so no seed. I also have no problem with creeping jenny (Lysmachia nummularia 'Aurea').

Never Autumn glory clematis! It is trying to climb 100' oaks. Taking over the whole yard.

Viburnum lentago suckers a lot, so I culled it. Some of the suckers were 5 feet or more from the shrub.
