Dear Administrator,
I, Ramana Gosukonda, Professor at Fort Valley State University, Fort Valley, GA, am leading an AI (artificial intelligence) research project funded by NIFA USDA. We aim to predict traits of daylily hybrid flowers by analyzing parental flower images.
To build a substantial dataset, we require a minimum of 2,500 high-quality daylily photos for each category: parent 1 plants, parent 2 plants, and their hybrid offspring. Ideally, these images should have minimal background noise.
We are reaching out to your esteemed society due to your renowned collection and expertise in daylilies. We would be grateful for the opportunity to utilize daylily images from your website, garde.org, for our research.
We kindly request your permission for two actions: first, to use the images, and second, to remove any background noise if necessary for accurate analysis. Of course, your society will be fully credited for any images included in our research.
Please advise on the best way to proceed and whether there are any specific guidelines or conditions for image usage.
We truly appreciate your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Ramana Gosukonda
