Come on all you Canucks out there...and I know there's a few of you. We need a Canadian Gardening forum to discuss our particular gardening challenges!

Let me mail Jacki. She even has a nursery up in Canada.

I'm here - thanks Lynn for the heads up. I would be thrilled to be a part of a Canadian gardening forum, as nice though it is to be in touch with folks from all over the world, it's a bit disheartening to not be able to buy and trade plants from different places.

Jacki, Lee Anne, don't the two of you know some more Canadians to show interest?

You might want to contact mcash70. She is in British Columbia and I bet she would be interested in a Canadian forum. She will be off the computer for a couple days but I am sure she will respond when she is able.

HI all, I'm here. In my zone I need all of the help that I can get.
Jul 14, 2011 11:03 PM CST
Until the Canadian forum is ready, Margaret, come chat in the Pacific Coast Gardening Forum. We hope it will be joined by people in Alaska, Hawaii, and British Columbia in addition to California, Oregon, and Washington.
Sorry, Blue Fox, I almost left you out of the invitation, but you're also a Pacific Coaster.
I can't wait to be driven mad with jealousy by photos of blue poppies grown by the people way, way up the coast from me.

Until a new forum is created, I hope you will right at home on either the Northern Gardening or the Pacific Coast Gardening forums.

Jul 15, 2011 11:37 AM CST
yup...we'll be milling around aimlessly like Canucks tend to do or pretending to be Arizonians or Californians when winter is upon us and we crave a bit of warmth.
Jul 15, 2011 1:14 PM CST
Aren't you "Northern"
Jul 15, 2011 1:25 PM CST

I would like to be part of a Canadian Gardeners group.
It is useful for organizing trades as it is awkward to get a sanitary certificate to trade with US
We can be Northern Gardeners---but need the understanding that we will swap seeds
with other Canadians.
And PLEASE! let this be a GARDENING forum, and not what the DG Canadian gardening forum became!
Jul 15, 2011 9:28 PM CST
Stay active and encourage others to stay on topic. I don't know what you mean about the other forum, but I know that we can keep this an active site focused on gardening if we want to!
Good to see ya'll!

(waving to Jo North and Caroline) I'm SO in the opportunity for trades and group orders from the US so we can split the PS fees between us
