I have 2 iris that have flowered and have lost their names.
Picture 1 is purple and light purple with a orange beard. Has musky smell with purple in base.
Picture 2 purple with yellow and yellow with blue tip beard. Slight sweet musky smell and no purple in base

I thought the first one might be Who's Your Daddy but I checked my photos and there is no purple based foliage so we can rule that one out.

Local Color has purple based foliage.
The description for Tom Johnson does not specify. Unfortunately registrations in most cases did not used to include this tidbit of information.

I was thinking Pagan Dance for your first one, but think it's edging may be broader than yours.. I can't really tell from your picture, but there are other Barry Blyth intros that look similar that might be worth checking out. Pagan Dance is probably the most popular....

I don't think the first one is a tall bearded. It looks more like an intermediate, but that could just be the picture.

The interesting thing to me about 'Fresh As Paint' is that it was ID'd by an Australian grower who told me that it still (a few years back) sells well there. It was on my property when I moved here in '97, and hybridized just a few miles from my last house in Silicon valley....
